This balsamic vinegar from Modena, Italy, is blended with real fruit juice. It will have you singing its praises all year long. No question what it is made with! Add a little blood orange olive oil to a summer vinaigrette and dress a salad of thinly sliced fennel, orange slices, dried cranberries and mixed greens. When it is the right season for all those colorful beets, decorate a platter of "beet carpaccio" with paper thin slices of beets, red onion and feta cheese with a drizzle of the cranberry balsamic and extra virgin olive oil.
It's a great cocktail mixer, especially in a shrub or with vodka in general. Can also mix it with a carbonated water for a refreshing drink. It's wondrous when paired with different cheeses on a cheese/charcuterie board or, and hear me out, on a grilled cheese. Absolutely phenomenal.
